Brazilian Green Maté, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg and our special blend of spices.
Teabags: Place your large tea bag in a cup of hot (not boiling) water. Steep 4-5 minutes. Cardamom Chai yerba maté tastes great with milk (even almond or soy) and your favorite sweetener (we prefer honey).
Loose: Allow 1 tablespoon of loose maté for each cup of tea. Steep in hot (not boiling) water & strain after 4-5 minutes. French presses, espresso machines, and tea balls can also be used to brew loose maté.
Or enjoy cold as an Iced Vanilla Chai Maté Latté!
Iced Vanilla Chai Maté Latté – Serves 4
2 cups hot water
4 Maté Factor Cardamom Chai tea bags
or 4 Tbsp loose leaf Maté Factor Cardamom Chai
Steep for 5 minutes, strain and add:
2 Tbsp honey (or 3 Tbsp sugar)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup cream (almond milk is a great non-dairy option)
2 cups ice
Mix well and store in refrigerator.
